    A student from a local Norfolk, Va. middle school performs an experiment using tuning forks to simulate how a submarine sonar works in water during a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) presentation at Hampton Roads Fleet Week on Naval Station Norfolk, Oct. 18, 2019. More than 2,000 local fifth graders saw STEM presentations from various commands throughout the event.
