U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Angel, a military working dog, and Sgt. Justin Rodriguez, a combat tracking dog trainer, both with Third Law Enforcement Battalion, Third Marine Information Group, play around following obedience training at Camp Wilson, Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 16, 2019. Military working dogs and their handlers are providing tracking support for Second Marine Division in various exercises until late October. Rodriguez stated, “this is the dream job, it has always been in the back of my mind.” Rodriguez has worked with Angel, the “free-spirited” dog, everyday doing obedience training and bomb tracking training for over two years.(U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
