Cadets with New Jersey Youth ChalleNGe Academy Class 50 check out tactical vehicles at the Regional Training Support-Maintenance facility on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Oct. 7, 2019. Established by Congress in 1993, the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program is course designed to provide opportunities to adolescents who left school before earning a high school diploma but demonstrate a desire to improve their potential for successful and productive lives.
