    ANGAUR, Republic of Palau—A nurse from the Ministry of Health gives a child a vaccine at the Angaur Community Center, Sept. 27, 2019. U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Gennadiy Birman, a corpsman with Exercise Koa Moana, assisted the Ministry of Health during their remote monthly medical clinic on the island of Angaur, as the island does not have constant medical care available. Birman was the first corpsman to volunteer to help the Ministry of Health with their clinic on Angaur . Koa Moana is an exercise that builds to enhance relationships with partner nations and maintain an effective U.S. force in readiness by participating in multilateral exercises and events.
