Soldiers with the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, fill up the seats of a C-17 Globemaster III here, May 14, in order to begin their redeployment home. The 1st ACB has reached the end of their year deployment in Afghanistan and has begun their redeployment back to the U.S. in earnest as the first main-body flight of troopers left Afghanistan, May 15, in order to return to their home base of Fort Hood, Texas.
