Soldiers with the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, load bags onto an open trailer here, May 14. The bags are being loaded for transport to the flightline to be palletized in order to expedite the soldiers' redeployment back to the U.S. The 1st ACB has reached the end of their year deployment in Afghanistan and has begun their redeployment home in earnest as the first main-body flight of troopers left Afghanistan, May 15, in order to return to their home base of Fort Hood, Texas.
