Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Gene Kirkland served as the keynote speaker at the "State of the Aerospace Industry" luncheon hosted by the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber Sept. 5 at the Reed Conference Center in Midwest City. Kirkland leads 40,000 Total Force Airmen across three air logistics complexes, three air base wings and two supply chain wings. The command provides global logistics and sustainment planning, operations, command and control as well as sustainment for the Air Force and Navy nuclear enterprise.
