A Marine Corps Drill Instructor at Officer Training Command in Newport, Rhode Island (OTCN) induces stress to a student of Candidate School (OCS) class 03-20 during the Room, Locker and Personnel (RLP) inspection on Sept. 26, 2019. Physical training is incorporated to increase their stress level. These future officers will be required to make ethical decision. Candidates are to answer basic Naval and Marine Corps questions while performing physical training. OCS develops civilians and fleet Sailors into newly commissioned officers morally, mentally, physically and imbue them with the highest ideals of honor, courage and commitment in order to prepare graduates for service in the fleet as Naval officers.
