Lance Cpl. Marco O. Orso, a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear defense specialist with Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, gives a position report to the command operations center during a training event here, May 8. Orso, a 23-year-old native of Cincinnati, recently participated in the Desert Fire Exercise, which trained the battalion to establish a forward operating base and secure the command operations center, a mission essential task for the division in a deployed environment.
