SEWARD, Alaska (September 19, 2019) – Seaman Jaqarious Wright, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45), explains the uses of a spline to Seward High School engineering students during a tour as part of Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) 2019. Approximately 3,000 U.S. Navy and Marine Corps personnel participate in AECE 2019, a joint training exercise that tests expeditionary logistical capabilities in the Arctic region and prepares joint forces to respond to crises across the Indo-Pacific.
