A U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier assigned to 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) prepares to mark a room that has a simulated casualty, played by a member of the Lithuanian National Defense Force (KASP), during a raid Aug. 19, 2019, as part of Exercise Combined Resolve XII, which took place in Hohenfels, Germany. About 140 Special Operations Forces from five countries participated in the exercise from August 11-27, to strengthen the combined, joint force on the battlefield, and the readiness of both SOF and conventional Forces.
