A U.S. Army Special Forces Soldier assigned to 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) and two members of the Lithuanian National Defense Force (KASP) provide security as their unit prepares to move from a village to an observation post Aug. 19, 2019 during Exercise Combined Resolve XII, atHohenfels, Germany. About 140 Special Operations Forces from five countries participated in the exercise from August 11-27, to strengthen interoperability between SOF and conventional forces to improve combined, joint warfighting between Allies and partners.
