Martello, senior enlisted adviser, 351st Civil Affairs Command passes the guidon of the 351st CACOM to the outgoing commander and commanding general of the 351st CACOM, Brig. Gen. Gary A. Medvigy during a relinquishment of command ceremony for Medvigy, May 6. The guidon is the flag that symbolizes the unit and historically has been the central rallying point for soldiers on the field of battle. Assuming the command on an interim basis is the deputy commander of the 351st CACOM, Col. Jimmy Rankin.
