U.S. Army Cpt. John Bond, from Silver Spring, Md., joins Qatar nationals during a traditional Islamic Iftar in Qatar on Sept. 15. This Muslim tradition ends daily fasting during Ramadan, the ninth and holiest month of the Islamic calendar. U.S. service members were invited to join almost 200 Muslims breaking their daily fast, to include various members of the Qatari military.
