The seminar is part of PKO-A, which is a command post exercise scenario designed to challenge participants' abilities to implement and sustain United Nation Security Council peacekeeping standards, ensuring participants are better prepared to respond to future peacekeeping operational challenges. U.S. Army South and the Chilean Joint Staff are co-hosting Peacekeeping Operations-Americas focusing on the exchange of inter-regional peacekeeping tactics, battalion and company level training and the exchange of information between multinational and joint forces.
