KODIAK, Alaska (September 10, 2019) – Cmdr. Kevin Culver, commanding officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock (LSD 45), gives Kodiak, Alaska mayor Patricia B. Branson and guests a tour of the ship following its arrival. Comstock is in Kodiak as part of Arctic Expeditionary Capabilities Exercise (AECE) 2019 a joint exercise featuring Sailors and Marines working side-by-side as they test joint expeditionary force logistical transfer capabilities in the Arctic environment.
