An Iraqi Security Force (ISF) soldier, with the School of Infantry Noncommissioned Officer II (SINCO II), fires his weapon during basic marksmanship training, on Camp Taji, Iraq, August 5, 2019. The SINCO II, with the assistance of Task Group Taji 9, certify in basic marksmanship skills to better train the ISF in basic marksmanship skills. SINCO II instructors focused training on wind and elevation corrections to maximize the effective range of their weapons. Together, the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and the ISF will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
