JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (August 29, 2019) Ship’s Serviceman 1st Class Carl Miller, from Brooklyn, N.Y., carries sand bags on Naval Station Mayport in preparation for Hurricane Dorian. Based on the predicted path of Hurricane Dorian, Commander, U.S. 4th Fleet ordered all Navy ships homeported at Naval Station Mayport to set Sortie Condition Alpha for units assigned to Naval Station Mayport.
