(Aug. 29, 2019) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Hector Cortes, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, assigned to the Freedom-class littoral combat ship USS Milwaukee (LCS 5), prepares heaving lines on Naval Station Mayport in preparation for Hurricane Dorian .Based on the predicted path of Hurricane Dorian, Commander, U.S. 4th Fleet ordered all Navy ships homeported at Naval Station Mayport to set Sortie Condition Alpha for units assigned to Naval Station Mayport.
