The Marines are here in support of Balikatan 2012. BK12 is an annual bilateral training exercise designed to build the joint interoperability between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. military. Freeman is an executive chef and owner of Blue Ginger. MWSS-172 is part of Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
