190821-N-FO574-1046 SANTA MARTA, Colombia (Aug. 21, 2019) Yohainnys Vaíguez, a Venezuelan mother, practices weight-bearing exercises with her four-year-old son, who has cerebral palsy, during a physical therapy session at a temporary medical treatment site. The hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
