Soldiers who participated in the run received official t-shirts along with an opportunity to win an iPod Touch during the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion's fundraiser on Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, April 28. In all, more than 300 participants turned out for the event, raising more than $13,000 that will go to helping injured soldiers and their families travel to Joint Base Lewis-McChord for the unit's welcome home ceremony.
