Task Force Medical, preventive medicine specialist U.S. Army Pfc. David Poppick, 61st preventive medicine detachment, fills a 10 mL tube with a water sample taken from a potable water source in an Austrian Liaison Monitoring Team house in Multinational Battle Group – West area of operation in Kosovo, Aug. 8. TF Medical achieves testing water quality by using a colorimeter. The test uses light refraction to find the pH and chlorine availability within the water. (U.S. Army photo by Spc.
