This is Lillydale Campground at Dale Hollow Lake taken, Sept. 3, 2000, before the southern pine beetles infested the majestic loblolly pines and forced the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District to close the campground in 2001, cut down the pines, and restore native hardwoods to the campground during Project Phoenix.
