This is a medieval illuminated manuscript page, likely from a liturgical book such as an antiphonary or gradual, featuring Gothic script text in Latin with musical notation (square neumes on red staff lines). The page contains a decorated historiated initial with a figure of a saint or religious person rendered in gold, blue, red, and green illumination with floral border decorations. A watermark from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is visible in the lower right corner, indicating this is a recovered cultural artifact.
