    CRS 3 and EODMU 1 Conducts UUV Operations During Unit Level Training

    190801-N-NT795-414 SAN DIEGO (Aug. 1, 2019) Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 3 and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 1 are underway aboard a Mark VI patrol boat during an unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV) operation, as part of unit level training provided by Coastal Riverine Group (CRG) 1 Training and Evaluation Unit. The Coastal Riverine Force is a core Navy capability that provides port and harbor security, high value asset security, and maritime security in the coastal and inland waterways. U.S. Navy EOD is the world’s premier combat force for eliminating explosive threats so the Fleet and Nation can fight and win wherever, whenever and however it chooses.
