Children of the local barangay bring their animals to a veterinarian civic assistance project (VETCAP) at the Virgilis R. Mabanua Elementary school, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Republic of the Philippines, April 18, 2012. Philippine and U.S. military members are conducting several VETCAPs across Palawan during Exercise Balikatan 2012 (BK12), an annual bilateral training exercise aimed at improving Republic of the Philippines and U.S. military force interoperability during planning, contingency, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
