190724-N-MX527-1112 PUNTARENAS, Costa Rica (July 24, 2019) Hospital Apprentice Miranda Lee Sutton, from Ariton, Ala., and Hospital Apprentice Lily Mauer, from Seattle, both assigned to hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), help feed a patient’s baby while she receives care at a temporary medical treatment site. Comfort is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
