190724-N-MX527-1054 PUNTARENAS, Costa Rica (July 24, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Al Jefferson Lintag, from New Lisbon, N.J., assigned to hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20), gives a patient a physiology examination at a temporary medical treatment site. Comfort is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
