    I Marine Expeditionary Force

    U.S. Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, pay their respects to Lance Cpl. Ramon T. Kaipat, an infantryman who served with Charlie Co., 1st LAR, and 22-year-old native of Tacoma, Wash., during a memorial service here, April 16, 2012. Kaipat was killed in action during a dismounted patrol in support of combat operations in Helmand province’s Khan Neshin district. Kaipat’s brothers-in-arms remember him as a caring and humble warrior, who placed the welfare of his fellow Marines before his own.
