Mayor de Infantería de Marina de Colombia (Colombian Maj.) Edgar Jaimes briefs U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command and U.S. soldiers from Joint Task Force Bravo land navigation techniques during Jungle Warfare training aboard Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, July 22, 2019. Jungle Warfare training improves service members’ skills for jungle combat scenarios, tactical skills, builds cohesion, and improves small unit leadership. Joint training enhances interoperability and responsiveness within partner nation militaries relations. The task force is conducting training and engineering projects alongside partner nation military forces in Central and South America. The unit is also on standby to provide humanitarian assistance and disaster relief in the event of a hurricane or other emergencies in the region. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Dante J. Fries)
