Garrison Administrative Officer Jacqueline Johnson provides opening comments July 10, 2019, for the presentation ceremony of the 2019 Army Communities of Excellence (ACOE) Bronze Award to Fort McCoy, Wis., at McCoy's Community Center. The Army’s Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management awarded Fort McCoy the Bronze Award in the active Army category. Fort McCoy previously earned Army Communities of Excellence honors in 2018 in the same category with a Silver Award. The post also earned a Bronze Award in the 2017 competition. Army Communities of Excellence is an annual competition that uses the Baldrige Framework for Performance Excellence to evaluate Army installations. That framework is based on seven criteria: leadership, strategic planning, customers, knowledge management, workforce, operations, and results. (U.S. Army Photo by Scott T.
