Răzvan Brătulescu(left), commander of the 99th Military Base in Deveselu, Romania, describes the local force protection and cooperation efforts with Romanian Minister of National Defense Gabriel-Beniamin Leș during his visit to Naval Support Facility Deveselu(NSFD) July 17, 2019. The minister and U.S. Ambassador to Romania, Hans Klemm, toured the Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense System(AABMDS) and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) site during their visit to see first-hand how the systems are integrated into the NATO BMD architecture for the southern European region.
