The image shows a handwritten sheet of music titled 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' a classic American baseball song. The sheet music is placed on what appears to be a music stand or holder, with multiple staves of musical notation visible. The photo is taken at a slight angle with shallow depth of field, causing some blur toward the edges.

The handwritten sheet music for Take Me Out to the Ball Game sits on a music stand belonging to the North Carolina National Guard’s 440th Army Band’s Saxophone Quartet during a sports themed 4th of July celebration, July 10, 2019 at the home of Craig L. Cloud, the U.S. Ambassador to Botswana, in Gaborone. Master Sgt. Merlin hand wrote and arranged the sheet-music on the flight to Botswana as the group had never played the song before the event. The band and other guardsmen with the North Carolina Army and Air National Guard were in Botswana to participate in Upward Minuteman 2019, a U.S. Africa Command exercise promoting the U.S. National Guard’s State Partnership Programs on the African Continent.
