190708-N-PL946-1043 GREAT LAKES, Ill. (July 8, 2019) A group of former Sailors from St. Louis joke as they experience what process current day recruits go through during ditty bag issue while visiting Recruit Training Command (RTC) for a tour. The group of former Sailors maintained friendship since graduating boot camp together and made arrangements to visit RTC on the 50-year anniversary of their ship date to boot camp, July 8, 1969. More than 35,000 recruits train annually at the Navy's only boot camp. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Spencer Fling)
