The Matanuska Glacier is the largest glacier in Alaska, at 27 miles long and 4 miles wide. Members from the 134th Medical Group took the opportunity to hike on the glacier during a deployment for training here June 22nd. The 134th MDG traveled to Alaska for their two-week annual training, to work alongside active duty counterparts and learn new techniques to improve their skills.
