Members from the 134th Air Refueling Wing participated in a guided hiking tour of the Matanuska Glacier, the largest glacier in Alaska, while on a deployment for training here, June 21st. Participants were given helmets and spikes for their shoes to help with their hike, and enjoyed views of ice caves during the unique experience. The 134th MDG traveled to Alaska for their two-week annual training, to work alongside active duty counterparts and learn new techniques to improve their skills.
