190628-N-DZ642-1039 MANTA, Ecuador (June 28, 2019) Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Azsan Purvis, from Stone Mountain, Georgia, front, and Pharmacist Carolina Zuniga, a Non-Government Official, assigned to the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20) issue medication at a temporary medical treatment site. Comfort is working with health and government partners in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean to provide care on the ship and at land-based medical sites, helping to relieve pressure on national medical systems strained by an increase in Venezuelan migrants.
