2nd Lt. Joseph King, Platoon commander, 5th Platoon, Alpha Company, The Basic School, leads a fire team up stairs to clear the second deck of the building during a training exercise on military operations in urban terrain at Camp Barrett, March 27. The task proved to be a harder than expected for King and his men as they took heavy casualties and became combat in effective.
