One of the purposes of learning MCMAP is to teach recruits basic offensive and defensive techniques, and this gives them the opportunity to master the moves in preparation for the MCMAP test later in training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited form the Western Recruiting Region are trained aboard MCRD San Diego. Mike Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 6.
