BALTIC SEA (June 17, 2019) - Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) 2nd Class William Barnard tracks a simulated contact using radar during a ship's nautical or otherwise photographic interpretation and evaluation drill aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) in the Baltic Sea, June 17, 2019. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its eighth patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
