U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers from the 351st Aviation Support Battalion, 59th Aviation Troop Command, South Carolina National Guard, conduct sling load operations, June 12, 2019, at McCrady Training Center in Eastover, South Carolina. As part of the operation, a CH47 Chinook from the 2-238th General Support Aviation Battalion, 59th Aviation Troop Command, lifted and transported a M1113 Humvee. The purpose of the training is for Soldiers to get additional experience in sling-load operations and to be able to move equipment and vehicles from one point to another when roads are blocked or not available.
