Col. Richard W. Pauly, the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing comptroller, a military term meaning financial adviser, recognizes potential financial problems that senior enlisted personnel may come across throughout fiscal year 2012 during a Sergeants Major Symposium aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., March 21 and 22. While this symposium was the first time sergeants major, master gunnery sergeants, first sergeants and master sergeants from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing have come together to discuss pertinent issues facing the Marine Corps, this is slated to become a semiannual event. These meetings will work in tandem with semiannual commander’s conferences to ensure senior enlisted advisers are up to date on current issues.
