Two U.S. Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopters with the 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, based in Katterbach, Germany, provide air support for a company of a Romanian army TAB B-83 Zimbru armored personnel carriers during a live-fire demonstration as part of Operation Saber Guardian 19 on June 13, 2019, in Cincu, Romania. The live-fire demonstration showed Romanian media how interoperability between the U.S. and it’s partner ally militaries can bring efficient and lethal firepower against any adversary. Saber Guardian 2019 is an exercise co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe, taking place from June 3-24, to enhance joint and combined interoperability across a variety of mission sets between Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the U.S. NATO allies and Partnership for Peace Nations.
