During training on Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), soldiers from the 1/34 Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, based in Bloomington, Minn., had the opportunity to control one of the robots used by Explosive Ordinance Disposal teams. The robot comes equipped with three cameras for viewing IED’s that have not been detonated, and an extendable arm to grab and move obstacles.
