Maj. Greg Wrubluski, the company commander for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Company, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, awards Staff Sgt. Bernard Coyne, of Woonsocket, R.I., the Bronze Star Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device during a ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 16. Coyne is an EOD technician attached to 2nd EOD Company, 2nd MLG, and was decorated for heroic actions during his 2011 deployment to Afghanistan. The medal he received was originally awarded to his grandfather during World War II.
