18 volunteers from Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic proudly display the 350 pounds of debris which they recovered on May 30 as part of NAVFAC Atlantic's observance of Clean the Bay Day 2019. These members of the NAVFAC Atlantic team brave temperatures approaching 100 degrees to clear a variety of waste, including discarded lumber, plastic bottles and sporting goods from the banks of Norfolk's Lafayette River adjacent to the command's headquarters complex.
