U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Jake Miller, Deputy Commander of the 752nd Special Operations Group, assigned to the 352nd Special Operation Wing, based out of RAF Mildenhall, U.K., gives a brief on the history of RAF North Witham, U.K., April 17, 2019, during a Staff Ride. The staff ride was the base for the 9th AAF’s Troop Carrier Group’s pathfinders, an elite force that had a key operational role in the invasion on D-day. Service members from the 352 SOW will conduct memorial airborne operations in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day, June 4-7, 2019.
