Logistics Specialist 1st Class (SW/AW) Chris Saulsberry, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68), squats 315 pounds as part of one portion of the ship’s 1000-pound club requirements. Club members’ dead lift, squat and bench must sum up to a total of 1000 pounds. Nimitz Morale, Welfare and Recreation formed the club to promote physical fitness and well-being within the command. Nimitz recently arrived to its new homeport of Everett, Wash.
