A U.S. Army AH-64 Apache attack helicopter fires Hellfire missiles on insurgent positions in a marsh outside of Qubah, in Diyala province, Iraq, Aug. 19. The attack was part of Operation Lightning Hammer, in which the U.S. military swept the palm groves and villages of the Diyala River Valley, searching for insurgents and weapons caches.
